It's been a while since my previous blogreport. Busy but fun weeks I had. I completed my Friday next internship; luckily it is not good bye to the firm and nice coworkers, because I got a weekend job there.
My mother and I went on a 5 days city trip to Copenhagen: cosy streets, nice shops, beautiful design and good food. Often we entered a shop early afternoon and left when it was dark. Big department stores like Magasin du Nord, Illums and Illums Bolighus are just completely filled with beautiful design. In the Netherlands design is sold in dedicated shops and concept stores; not so here in Copenhagen: floor after floor full of design. Quite a relevation for me!
To make a long story short: Copenhagen is the place to be. Don't forget to put on your walking shoes; you will need these to stroll through the commercial district. Tomorrow I'll show you an inspiring store from Copenhagen.
Today I'll show you the inspiring shop STILLEBEN. Looking for a supermarket I found the shop in a side street: lovely, small and compact. It showcased beautiful items! Next to less known and upcoming labels you find Gubi, Muuto, Tom Dixon, OYOY and Hella Jongerius; a balanced combination.
